A) Stay POLITE AT ALL TIMES
Keep the tone and content of your posts polite, even when you have a strong urge to vent because you're so ANGRY at an email provider or service... Rudeness, flaming, libel, derision, or verbal slaps, and vulgar language have no place on these Forums. This includes any attempt to circumvent the "profanity filters" in place on these Forums.

B) No ads

C) NO signatures of any kind
Signatures are the tag lines at the end of posts with links leading to your website that are in use on some discussion forums. On Koivet.com, signing off with your name is acceptable - any outbound link is unacceptable.
D) Got a PROBLEM? Be SPECIFIC
It's much easier for others to comment or help you when they have all the details. Provide as much information as you can, such as details of the problem, symptoms, information about the pond and filtration system you're using (if appropriate) and so on.
E) No cross-posting
You should not post the same post to more than ONE forum!
F) Stay on topic
Actually, we all wander off topic a little from time to time - but at the end of the day, these Forums are meant for discussing fish and fish health, ponds and how to care for them. If you want to post on topics other than email, then please do so at PetsBB.com.
G) Post to the appropriate forum
If you have an issue with Sick Fish, post to the Sick Fish forum! The same for Pond Construction - Other than that, please choose the most appropriate forum for your post after reviewing the descriptions of ALL the forums. It helps other forum members answer your questions more quickly.
H) Absolutely no discussion of illegal activities
Do not discuss any kind of illegal activity anywhere in these Forums! Also, you may not post links to sites that discuss illegal activities or information on how to track down such sites.
I) You may not post direct or indirect references to competitor's sites
Do not reference a site with competing content on it via a link, either on the Forums themselves or in your User Profile. This is a "zero tolerance" issue i.e. no warning will be issued; you will simply be banned from the Forums and your email address and IP blacklisted.
J) No second-guessing the moderators' disciplinary discretion
I trust the moderators to do their jobs well and to make appropriate decisions. If a post has been locked, modified or deleted by a moderator, or a poster or service banned from these Forums, it's a FACT. Therefore please do not start posts debating the merits and demerits of a particular moderation action. This is a "zero tolerance" issue i.e. no warning will be issued; you will simply be banned from the Forums and your email address and IP blacklisted.
K) No Forum-based or Private Message spam
Do not use these Forums or the Private Message system to send unsolicited commercial offers to other members. If you receive an unsolicited email from a Forum member, report it to us and also to: uce@ftc.gov

ENFORCEMENT OF THESE RULES
